With the change in weather, Freddy has been busy preparing his favourite autumn treats, and with Halloween fast approaching, this simple treat is sure to go down well in any household!
?I love spring and summer in the garden when everything is coming to life, but there is something very special about autumn. As the leaves begin to fall and the air turns a little colder I love to get cosy in Tumbledown Cottage. This recipe is the perfect way to ease into autumn and winter, adding just a hint of spice to a simple slice of toast, pancakes, scones warm from the oven, baked apples and anything else you care to top with it. It couldn?t be easier to make either so I like to surprise my mammy Kitty by whipping some up all by myself for weekend breakfasts.
Cinnamon Butter
- 100g unsalted butter
- 2tbsp maple syrup or honey
- 1tsp ground cinnamon
Add all of the ingredients to a bowl and whisk until light and fluffy using an electric mixer or a hand held whisk. Transfer to a smaller bowl or jar and store in the fridge. It?s just that easy! ?
