Hello all my little bunnies out there! I hope you are eating well, doing lots of colouring and washing your hands. I am spending lots of time in the garden with George our rabbit and Sid and Nancy our new Polish hens. They are crazy little creatures and so funny.
This week on Freddy’s Foodie Friday we are featuring Emerald Oils who make delicious homegrown rapeseed oil. It is packed with Vitamin E, contains lots of omegas and, best of all, it is grown, pressed and bottled in Co. Tipperary. On top of all that, Emerald oils have committed to planting 50m of hedgerow and 10 additional trees every year until 2022 to improve biodiversity on their land. How brilliant is that?!
Rapeseed oil has a high burn point, making it ideal to cook with, plus it also contains less saturated fat than butter and is perfect not only for cooking, but for salad dressings and dips.
